With the official end of the Covid pandemic Dr. Young has made his office available for me to see any of our patients who prefer or are required to be seen in person. An author of several books and over 100 articles and publications in the most prestigious medical journals, Dr. Young uses acupuncture in addition to medications to control withdrawal symptoms, especially pain, during the transition phase in our preventative maintenance program on the road to recovery.
For over 2 decades, Dr. Young has used acupuncture and scientifically supported Natural tools as well as non-narcotic medications in a supplementary/ complementary way to aid patients towards a better state of wellness that includes little or no pain and stress relief.
Acupuncture for Blocking Triggers
Scientific literature confirms the value of acupuncture and other natural treatments in minimizing the severe agony of attempted abstinence and weaning and blocking symptoms by preventing withdrawal triggers. No longer will you have to undergo the severe agony of attempted abstinence when he blocks the precise triggers of withdrawal from the outside of your being. This initial treatment is optional but can be combined with our standard treatment program which may be an in person and/or telemedicine visits
Additional acupuncture treatment as well as other modalities will be available for chronic pain that may have started your use of narcotics and may persist. This may be covered under your insurance policy although we do not accept any insurance for initial consultations, office visits nor telemedicine visits. Some insurance companies do provide partial coverage for out of network physicians. Check with your insurance company directly for confirmation.
Acupuncture can help your pain and reduce your anxiety while your recovery and sobriety is assisted by buprenorphine (suboxone or subutex).
